Summer is peak season in the high country. From May through September, Valley buyers escaping the heat drive the bulk of showings, and the best-priced cabins and homes near the lakes routinely go under contract within days. Land stays active year-round, with owner-carry financing keeping Concho and Vernon parcels moving even when rates wobble.
